While watching the main opening of the cartoon, “Cedric,” that I have been watching on Netflix, I was thinking about the visuals in the beginning in Season 3. Near the end of the opening, I saw two individual images.
You have the image that shows a larger picture of the main characters as well as everyone from 8-year-old Cedric’s school, family and neighborhood.
But, then, you have an image of just Cedric, Christian and Chen (Jen).
I want to be able to reach a large number of people (community) and have a connection with them, but I believe that everyone needs a close, healthy and holy relationship with specific individuals in our lives. We need men and women closest to our lives that are like brothers and sisters.
I personally like the picture of just Cedric, Christian and Chen. We tend to think we need a ton of friends, but sometimes it is just as simple and more awesome to have those few people in our lives who are close to us, know our quirks and our ways and who can talk to us in a way that’s different from the rest of the community.
